Meet Our Team

Tacoma Ag®, LLC is a privately owned company marketing generic crop protection products in the United States. Founded in 2009 the company currently has registrations for 2,4-D , Clethodim, Dicamba, Glyphosate, Mepiquat and Bifenthrin. There are two owners of the company; Kevin Howard and Bryan Wilson. Tacoma Ag’s focus is to utilize a combined 70 plus years of experience working with Basics (BASF and Sandoz), a leading Generic company (Micro Flo) and Crop Protection Distribution (United Agri Products, Loveland Products Inc.) to provide high quality generic technicals and end use formulations to our customer base to enhance their margin opportunities.

Kevin Howard

Managing Partner

Kevin Howard is an executive with over 20 years experience in the crop protection industry. Kevin has been a managing partner of Tacoma Ag, LLC since the assets of Axss were first acquired in February, 2009. Most recently Kevin was an Executive Vice President for United Agri Products Holding Corp. from 2004 – 2009 serving as President of Loveland Products, Inc. Prior to joining UAP Kevin worked for BASF/Micro Flo from 1997 through 2003, serving as Vice President of Operations and head of TopPro Specialties for Micro Flo Company (a division of BASF). Before joining Micro Flo, Mr. Howard held various sales and marketing positions with Sandoz from 1990 through 1996. Kevin graduated from the University of Florida in 1988 with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics. Kevin and his family currently reside in Raleigh,N.C.

Bryan Wilson

Managing Partner

Bryan Wilson is an experienced executive having served more than 25 years in the crop protection industry. He has operated his own company, worked for a basic manufacturer, headed up a national generic products company, and served as the President and Company Officer of a major North American distribution company in the crop protection industry. Most recently Bryan served as President of United Agri Products, a NASDAQ traded company, before its acquisition by Agrium Inc. Before joining United Agri Products, Bryan worked with BASF for 15 years in various sales, marketing and management positions including two years in their global headquarters in Limburgerhof, Germany. From 1998 – 2002, Bryan served as President of Micro Flo Company, a leading generic crop protection products company which BASF owned at the time. Bryan holds Masters of Science and Bachelor of Science Degrees from Mississippi State University. After graduating from Mississippi State, Bryan founded Wilson Ag Service and operated his own agriculture consulting business before joining BASF in 1987. Bryan and his family currently reside in his home state of Mississippi.

Jennifer Bost

Manager-Operations & Marketing

Jennifer Bost is a graduate of the University of Mississippi where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Marketing. She joined Tacoma Ag in January 2013 as the Manager of Operations and Logistics, in which she was responsible for production planning, tolling and logistics for the Tacoma Ag product portfolio. She was later promoted to Manager of Marketing and Operations, allowing her to utilize her marketing degree. Jennifer is very involved within the communities of Monroe and Itawamba Counties, where she servers on the FIRST Foundation. She resides in her home state of Mississippi with her husband Alex and their son, Sawyer.

Jan Holley

Accounting & Office Management

Jan Holley earned a degree in Media Science from the University of Mississippi. With 13 years in the Mississippi education system and 12 years spent working in accounting and office management for an ag implement manufacturer and CPA firm, Jan brings in a background of accounting and business management to the Tacoma Ag, LLC family. Jan and her husband, Danny, still operate and reside on the Holley family farm growing corn, soybeans and wheat

Wayne Lohman

National Sales Account Manager

Wayne Lohman began his career in crop protection products in 1981 as a sales representative for Velsicol Chemical Company in southern Illinois.  In 1984, he was promoted to District Sales Manager for the Southeast located in Atlanta.  Velsicol was purchased by Sandoz and Wayne moved to Denver in 1991 as Marketing Manager for the Western U.S.  In 1994, he moved back to Georgia as Southeast Sales and Marketing Manager.  In 1999, Wayne joined Micro Flo Company, which was a subsidiary of BASF, as Marketing Manager for the TopPro Specialties group.  BASF merged TopPro and BASF Specialty in 2003 and Wayne moved to Marketing and Business Development which handled supply contract management, technical sales, licensing and other third party agreements.  His next assignment was 4 years in  the Professional Vegetation Management area, where he handled sales across the U.S. in forestry and vegetation management markets.

In those various roles, he has worked in many U.S. crop production and non-crop markets, including corn, cotton, soybeans, wheat, range and pasture, citrus, vegetables, turf, ornamentals, pest control, consumer products, forestry and vegetation management.

Wayne also represented BASF as a member of the RISE (Responsible Industry for Sound Environment) Legislative Affairs Committee for 15 years and served as chairman of the committee for 6 of those years.

He has a B.S. from Illinois State University and M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University and has done post-graduate work in Marketing at the University of Michigan.

Wayne and his family live 50 miles south of Atlanta on a working cattle ranch.

John Goggans Jr.

Supply Chain & Key Account Manager

John Goggans Jr. holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Mississippi. John began his career in 2009 by focusing on agricultural sales and service, becoming the third generation of his family to participate in an agribusiness career. From 2012-2015, John served Sharda USA as US Supply Chain Manager and Central US Regional Account Manager, helping to develop a branded portfolio and expand sales. In 2015, he joined CSE Life Science Holdings, where he served as Production and Procurement Manager, primarily focused on importations, product development, formulations, and production planning. John joins the Tacoma Ag team as Supply Chain and Key Account Manager and brings a detailed and professional discipline to production planning as well as a customer service oriented approach to expanding sales in new markets. John and his wife reside in Collierville, TN, where they are active members of the Memphis community
